The Mission of the Red Bluff Union Elementary School District is to create and maintain an environment that ensures all students reach a high level of academic achievement as determined by state and district standards. We commit to a comprehensive system of support to assure this outcome.
The Red Bluff Elementary Board of Education is responsible for establishing the policies that govern the district. These policies are adopted by the Board to implement the philosophy and practices of the school system. The five members of the Board are elected or appointed to serve two or four year terms, dependent upon position. Candidates are elected on a nonpartisan basis and must live within the attendance area of the district. All attendance areas residents are eligible to vote for Board candidates. The district Superintendent is hired by the Board and serves as Secretary to the Board. Board meetings are held at the District Office and on occasion, at the school sites, on the second Tuesday of the month beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Board Meeting agenda is posted on the district website (www.rbuesd.org), on our Agenda Online website (https://agendaonline.net/public/redbluffunion) at each school and at the District Office at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.
