Public Comment:

Public comment is in real-time. Any person desiring to address the Board of Trustees concerning a topic on the agenda should complete the "Agenda Item Speaker" card and give it to the Superintendent before the meeting. For those who wish to speak virtually, click on the 'Raise Hand' icon, via Zoom. The Board President also may limit or prohibit multiple presentations by the same individual(s) on the same topic.

Please understand that by law (Government Code 54954.2) and Board Bylaw #9323, the School Board shall take no action or discussion on any item not appearing on the agenda, except as authorized by law (Education Code 351445.5) and these matters of concern will be referred to the District Superintendent's office.

RBUESD Public Hearing will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 5:30 pm in the Board Room at RBUESD - District Office, 1755 Airport Blvd., Red Bluff, CA 96080

Red Bluff Union Elementary School District is holding a Public Hearing regarding the reduction of instructional days for the Extended School Year program for 2025-26. The local education agency (LEA) requests to be allowed to provide instruction in fewer than the 20 days required by law for an extended school year (ESY). The LEA proposes an alternate schedule that will allow them to provide the number of hours required but in fewer days.

A public hearing is required by the California Department of Education for such a waiver.

The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the District Office Board Room, 1755 Airport Blvd, Red Bluff, CA.

Copies of the document will be available to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the District Office.
